Another glimpse into the spiritual soul of The Quiet Beatle that many of us loved so much. This book isn't terribly long and doesn't bog down in the details of early life, The Beatles or forgotten romances. Instead it focuses on the spiritual growth that George attained after trying LSD for the first time, learning to chant and meditate and eventually focusing his life around Hinduism and Krishna. This book will make you love the man whose life was cut way too short all the more as it shows his all-too-human side all the while striving toward the purest living he could find.
This story might take a minute to tell. Bear with me. When my sister and I were little girls, my mother took us to a large baptist church in town. Even as a child, I never remember feeling welcome there. But I do remember the lovely older couple that kept my Sunday School class.
