Becky's Greatest Hits Vol. II

This blog will be off the air before the season barely gets started, but I want to go on the record to say how much I still love my Cam and my Carolina "pandas" .  I'm still rooting for all y'all!

I was afraid this Amazon Prime doc might make me not love my Carolina "Pandas" as much.  I was wrong.  It made me love them even more. Even though I know how the season ends, seeing them win is still joyous and seeing them lose is fresh heartbreak.  I love hearing their jokes, watching them dance and listening to them get revved up on the field in the middle of plays.  The everyday coworker stuff is fun too like listening to Greg Olsen explaining the plot of "Hamilton" and Luke and Cam ribbing Josh Norman on the phone before a match-up.  It's also a treat for locals as we see our city looking beautiful and feeling pride for guys we feel like we know even if we don't. It makes you love the owner, the head coach, the special coaches and even the wives and families (that you get to see). This show does a lot to get you excited for the upcoming season and hopeful for another Super Bowl.  I got to thinking about how every team seems...

Or, as well call them in our house, the Carolina Pandas!

The big day is here!  May I just say, no matter what happens today, the Panthers have certainly given us a great season here in North Carolina.  They have made us proud, made us famous and even made us money!  They've brought a team spirit and shared love that this city can always use.  Of course, I hope they win, but I'm also just happy that they're there. And side note, I just feel very strongly that no matter what the outcome of the game is that tomorrow should be a mandatory school/work day off in Charlotte and surrounding cities.  Can you back me on that?????

Sheesh.  That two week wait until the Super Bowl is FOREVER in sports fan time.....especially if your team is going to the big dance!  Of course, you can watch the Pro Bowl but will that really fill all the time?  Probably not.  So your friendly neighborhood blogger has set you up on some awesome football movie recommendations to see you through.  You are welcome. Rudy A true life film about a blue collar kid who just really, really wants to play varsity at Notre Dame.  Men will cry at the end without impunity.  Basically, a modern football classic. Brian's Song A young Billy Dee Williams and James Caan tackle racism and tragedy in this football/friendship/male bonding classic. Another man-can-cry-without-retribution flick. Jerry Maguire A funny and actually moving film about football, family and the true meaning of success.  Ron Tidwell has always made me think of the awesome former Carolina Panther, Steve Smith .  Y...

Why do you people have to hate on Cam? Is his smile too bright? Does he celebrate moments meant to be celebrated with too much exuberance? Is he too stunning in his perfect male form? Does he play the game too brilliantly? Is he too much of a champion? Does he support his fellow teammates too much? Does he just seem to really love the game?  That's okay, haters.  We'll keep him.

  Let's go to the Super Bowl again .  And this time, with no wardrobe malfunctions !
