This is my current read, which was actually written before Knox's recent verdict overturn and subsequent freedom. I have to say from reading this book and press accounts, I don't think Amanda Knox is guilty of murder. However, I do have to say I think she was guilty of what a lot of young Americans tend to commit in other countries: the crime of stupidity. People, especially young ones, need to learn once and for all that they don't have the same protections, care, consideration and well, let's just say it, love , that they have here in America. When you venture into another country, there will be no sweet mother representative of the Nanny State watching out for you or swooping into save you. There will be no nice local cop that will call your parents when you fuck up.
