Year in Review

For my engaged readers and interested parties, here is a breakdown of my year with links to the relevant posts. We still have about one more month to go for the Year of the Rabbit , and I would have to say that it did turn out to be a lucky and prosperous year for me. But I still don't have any trouble sending my Hare advice out to the world ....go, Rabbits, go! Biggest Moments 1) closing on my house...... 2) getting inked on E-Roc 3) Little Boy growing up more and more 4) my unexpected help with an accident ......this just taught me a lot Proudest Financial Escapades 1) purchasing my new home.... for the first time ....in my own name! 2) purchasing my new car .......ditto! 3) getting a quasi promotion at work 4) paying for movers.....the best $600 I ever spent 5) filing my own taxes Happiest Times 1) easy -going weekends with E-Roc and Little Boy 2) sitting on my back deck 3) fun times with my favorite new girl friend 4) loving my boys ....just loving them so much Gro

Christmas in the Country

Pre-Schoolers are onto Something

In this house, we dig naps!

Things Are Looking Up!

So glad my boy will be home for Christmas after all!

Boxy.....Boxy Lady!

I did love my Beemer so. But it was long past time for us to part company. She never did me wrong, but I was beginning to see that as time goes by she was going to be a very expensive lady to keep up. And that old way of life is long gone for me now. So meet my new girl that we are affectionately and appropriately calling Boxy Brown. We plan to have many happy road trips together.....

It's All About to Change......Again

Every time I change keys, change cars, change houses, my PSU stays with me. It's my weird and happy talisman......

How Do You NOT Love My Morning Jacket?

This is my current fave, but I also really love "Do You Wanna Freak Out".......they are like Modest Mouse meets Pink Floyd meets Southern Rock. What's not to love???

It Has a Better Tree This Year!

Robert Will Be Okay.....I Just Know It

I totally get the sentiment here , and I totally agree. Like a lot of music snobs, I also don't think the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame means a hell of a lot. I also really don't dig those big all-star jams they have at the end of the presentation.....just a little too phoney for me. I'm just sayin......
